Joyce Perez is a singer-songwriter, and actress. Born and raised in Venezuela, Joyce grew up singing onstage, practicing artistic gymnastics competitively around the world, riding horses professionally, and oil painting in an art academy. Before pursuing her dreams of being a recording artist, she was a Medicine and Architecture student for over two years.

She started her career as an actress when she moved to the United States in 2018, most recently appearing as a cheerleader, and a townsperson on Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 4 (2022). Joyce Perez has appeared in several film, television, and theatre productions. You may have also seen her in Dr. Philips Center, Theatre UCF, and Valencia College productions.

Recently, she has entertained audiences as Hymen and Amiens in William Shakespeare’s As You Like It, where she also served as the main musician and music director; and currently as Lucia in the original play Race To Infinity by Gian Arellano.

Joyce is presently working on her B.F.A. Acting degree at the University of Central Florida. Her motivation, dedication, and hard work are clearly demonstrated in her perfect GPA. Awaiting graduation in Fall 2023 with the greatest academic distinction, she strives at everything she does. Outside of acting and singing, Joyce spends her free time working as a model, composing her own songs, singing, and playing both her guitar and piano.

Now that her time in the classroom is coming to a close, Joyce is looking forward to fight for her dreams. Her grounding in technique and the new skills she has gained has prepared her for a new and exciting chapter in her professional life.
